RESEARCH & EVIDENCE · REVIEWED 27 OCTOBER 2026

Clear sources.
Honest claims.

We distinguish national research, UATT’s development philosophy, planned services and demonstrated outcomes.

Trinidad and Tobago labour-market context

The CSO’s Continuous Sample Survey of Population reports the following national estimates for Q1 2026, released 24 July 2026. These describe the national labour market, not UATT membership or the size of our target audience.

IndicatorQ1 2026
Total labour force595,900
Persons with jobs564,000
Total unemployed31,900
Unemployment rate5.4%

Counts are rounded to the nearest hundred. The unemployment rate is a share of the labour force, not of the entire population. People outside the labour force must not automatically be counted as unemployed.

What the figures do not establish

We have not established a verified combined count of low-income, underpaid and unemployed people. The previously discussed 300,000–500,000 estimate is not used as a factual audience total. Low income, underpayment and unemployment are different concepts; overlapping categories cannot simply be added. A defensible estimate needs an explicit income threshold, reference period and a method that avoids double counting.

Why development matters

The International Labour Organization’s 2026 report links inclusive lifelong learning with employability, enterprise innovation and societal well-being. It also identifies unequal access to training. This supports the general rationale for workforce development; it does not validate UATT’s specific programmes or guarantee participant outcomes.

UATT’s own framework

The four domains—Hustle, Career, Ministry and Enterprise—and NAMECODE are Coach Elijah Pierre’s development approach. Enterprise is UATT’s intended culminating domain, not a universal research finding about every person’s career. The sector pathways are UATT programme groupings, not CSO industry categories. Caribbean expansion is a vision, not a claim of current regional operations.

Partnerships, services and results

TTMA and supermarket-sector associations are intended relationships. No membership, endorsement or partnership with them is claimed. Programme descriptions and membership benefits describe intended scope; confirm delivery, resources, dates and terms before enrolling. No verified UATT employment-placement rate, income increase, member total or enterprise-success rate is published here.

The full member portal is not yet established. Sector-based WhatsApp communities are the intended initial delivery channel; confirm availability with UATT. Invitations are sent by an administrator after payment verification.

Contacts and payments

The contact address, WhatsApp number and bank-transfer instructions were supplied by UATT’s founder. They have been checked for consistency across the site, but bank-account ownership has not been independently verified. Confirm the account holder, currency and amount directly with UATT before transfer. Membership now starts with sector selection. Confirm the current fee, currency, billing period and community availability with UATT before payment; no new flat rate is published. Enquiries open the visitor’s messaging app; registration capture and bank verification are not automated.
